Nick Knowlton, Technology Consultant / CEO
In 2021, Nick Knowlton founded Dirigo Technology. Nick's journey in IT began as an intern at ACORN Products in Lewiston, Maine. His IT consulting career took off in 2001 when he started as a technician for a small IT support company in the same city.
In 2011, Nick established his own consulting firm, Ketch Networks, which experienced rapid growth and was eventually acquired by a large New England Managed Service Provider (MSP) in 2012. Since then, Nick has been working closely with small business owners and leaders, assisting them in managing their technology support needs.
Now, Nick and his team at Dirigo Technology are providing IT consulting, support, and managed services to small businesses and nonprofit organizations throughout Maine. Nick currently lives in Lewiston with his wife, Brie, and their two children.

Brie Knowlton, Business Manager / Accounting
Brie plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of Dirigo Technology. Her responsibilities encompass billing and accounting, as well as quoting and hardware/software procurement for our clients. Leveraging her background in marketing and graphic design, Brie is also in charge of our branding and image.
Brie lives in Lewiston with her husband, Nick, and their two children. In her free time, Brie also offers her expertise in graphic design and marketing to local small businesses through her own consultancy, Brixel Creative.
Israel Roy, Senior Engineer / Technology Consultant
In 2021, Israel joined Dirigo Technology as a Senior Engineer and Consultant. After obtaining a Computer Science degree from college, Israel started his IT support career at a local hospital, where he discovered his passion for customer service. Over the past 10+ years, he has been providing support to small businesses and nonprofit organizations, leading a team of engineers in the process.
Drawing from his experience working with numerous small businesses and nonprofits in Maine and other regions, Israel has demonstrated that successful technology consulting and services necessitate a personal yet professional approach.
Currently, Israel lives in Farmington, Maine, with his wife and three daughters.
Mike Pratt, Senior Technology Consultant
In 2024, Mike joined Dirigo as part of an acquisition of his previous company, EntrePro Services. With 20+ years of experience in entrepreneurship, business planning, financial analysis, network engineering, operations and decision analysis, Mike has the passion for all things related to technology. Also helping companies solve business problems with the use of technology are at the core of Mike’s daily work.
Mike genuinely enjoys the consultative process, along with seeing a plan executed well. Long term success is the primary goal he has in mind while working with clients. In conclusion hundreds of Maine businesses have relied on Mike’s expertise to successfully grow their business.
Currently, Mike lives in Turner, Maine with his wife and 3 children.
Kristina Prescott, Strategic Technology Advisor
In 2024, Kristina joined our team to provide her experience with process, procedures, documentation and reporting amongst other things. Her role will help with our continued growth by providing support for both Operations and Account Management. Kristina previously has had her own consultancy, worked within the MSP space at a large national provider and is very well connected with many local business leaders and partners.

Alex Landry, IT Support Engineer
In 2023, Alex joined Dirigo Technology as an IT Support Engineer. As a graduate of the University of Maine Orono's Computer Science program, Alex will be collaborating with our team to provide first-level support for many of our clients.
Matthew Keresey, IT Support Engineer
Matthew joined Dirigo Technology in 2024 as an IT Support Engineer. As a CISSP-certified professional with hands-on experience, Matt has honed his skills in securing IT systems and ensuring compliance with rigorous standards. Matt will be collaborating with our team to provide first-level support for many of our clients, while remaining at the forefront of cybersecurity advancements.
Andrew Day, IT Support Engineer
Andrew joined Dirigo Technology in 2025 as an IT Support Engineer. Having graduated from
Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science for Information Technology focusing on Network Engineering and Enterprise Administration, his range of experience provides a unique look on how to best merge complex and high priority equipment with daily end user experience.
Previously residing in NY and VT, Andrew has recently moved back to Litchfield just in time to be married to his high school sweetheart. He looks forward to getting back to his roots exploring the outdoors via hiking, boating, snowmobiling, and driving through the lesser-known parts of Maine.
Evan Knowlton, Field Support Engineer
Evan joined Dirigo Technology in 2024 while completing his degree in Computer Technology at Central Maine Community College. Evan demonstrates a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth making him an invaluable asset to our team.
In his role as a Field Support Engineer, Evan provides comprehensive support to our clients. His responsibilities extend beyond traditional IT support as he actively engages in on-site installation projects, ensuring our clients receive integrated solutions tailored to their needs.
