meet our TEAM

Nick Knowlton, CEO

Nick started his career in 2001 working directly with small businesses and solving day-to-day technology issues. Early on, he saw a pattern—most IT environments weren’t failing because of the technology itself, but because they were reactive, inconsistent, and overly complex. In 2011, Nick founded Ketch Networks to take a different approach. The company grew quickly and was acquired by a regional MSP the following year. Since then, he has continued working closely with business owners and leadership teams, helping them simplify their environments, reduce risk, and get more value from their technology.

Today, Nick leads Dirigo Technology, where the focus is straightforward: provide client first IT solutions while offering reliable support from people you know and trust.

Today, he combines deep cybersecurity expertise with a strong interest in emerging technologies such as AI and automation. As a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), he hopes to bring his experience back into the Maine business community, helping the organizations he cares deeply about strengthen their security, embrace innovation, and gain a lasting competitive edge.
